What we don't collect
- We don't ask for your phone number, IMEI, account details or passwords.
- The phone finder questions run in your browser. Your answers aren't sent to us.
- The stolen phone checklist saves your ticks in your own browser only (local storage). You can clear them anytime.
Stories you share
If you send a story, we store what you write in the form (title, city, country, the answers you pick and your text) so we can review and publish it. We don't ask for your name or contact details. To limit spam, we keep a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address, never the address itself. Only city and country are published with your story. Want a story removed? Use the "Report this story" link on its page, or email us.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which guides help people most. It uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't sell data.
Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked first: analytics cookies stay off unless you click Accept. You can change your choice anytime with the button below. Google's processing is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
What our host may record
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data (like IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
Links to other sites
